Description:
Silky sleep caps are a simple but powerful way to protect your hair while you sleep. Made from smooth, breathable silk, these caps help reduce friction, tangling, and pulling overnight, while also helping keep favourite hairstyles in place so you wake up with your hair just how you like it.
They are especially helpful if you sleep with CPAP or oxygen tubing, as the silk surface allows straps and headgear to move smoothly without tugging on hair or creating pressure points. They’re also a great option for protecting styled hair, curls, braids, and sensitive scalps, or for anyone wanting a more comfortable and gentle sleep experience.
Designed to be worn all night, these caps stay in place without feeling tight or restrictive, offering comfort, hair protection, and peace of mind.

About Tarryn
Tarryn was a close friend of Kylee & Co, our first ever ambassador, and a collaborator whose ideas and impact continue to shape what we do.
Tarryn lived with Down syndrome, Ehlers Danlos syndrome, and later multi organ failure. Tarryn ran her own business, Signing T (signingt.co.nz), where she created and sold products while raising awareness for sign language and inclusive communication online. Her work was grounded in visibility, access, and showing what is possible when people are supported to create and lead in their own way.
Tarryn slept with CPAP and wore silk sleep caps every night to protect her hair, stop her headgear pulling, and keep her favourite hairstyles just how she liked them. They were a simple but essential part of her nightly routine. In her final days, she asked if Kylee & Co stocked silk sleep caps. When we said we didn’t, she told us that needed to change. When asked what they should be called, her answer was immediate.
“Tarryn’s Sleep Caps, of course.”
These sleep caps were created in collaboration with Tarryn. Her sisters are working alongside us to sign off the final logo design and information cards as we prepare to officially launch this product in her honour. In the meantime, we are offering the current unbranded silk sleep caps so people can get in early and begin using them now.
Tarryn passed away in November 2025. These sleep caps honour her life and the impact she had, helping us carry that forward through something practical, caring, and made to be used. They are our small way of honouring Tarryn’s light and life, and the absolute princess and rockstar she was.
